old memories: First place tanka Society of America Contest
an'ya is known worldwide for writing Japanese short forms and her works have been translated into over 60 different languages. She has won many competitions, been published various places and has numerous published books to her credit. Currently an'ya is the editor for cattails collected works of the United haiku and Tanka Society and keeps her own publication "midnight moon" which can be viewed at anyaonline.us
